Our 2nd Secondary fund launched!

Akebono Asset Management Ltd (Tokyo, Japan) proudly announces its 2nd flagship fund with secondary strategy, Ariake Secondary Fund II L.P. (ASFII), launched in Cayman Islands on 1st October, 2019.
ASFII hires “Japan-Nexus” secondary strategy to focus on secondary trades to Japanese sellers which are anticipated to increase its needs for secondary market of LP interests to private asset investment funds.
ASFII also hires co-investment strategy to access to Japanese private asset funds through co-investment opportunities.
Akebono has been acting as an investment manager to its 1st secondary fund, Ariake Secondary Fund I L.P., since February 2017, to accumulate its portfolio assets through acquisitions from Japanese secondary market. After the end of its investment period early this year, Akebono launched its 2nd fund this time to offer further investment opportunities to investors.
ASFII made its first close with anchor LP on 1st October this time. ASFII plans for fund raising from institutional investors till September 2020.
